Fleuve House

Beautiful and amazing hair requires everyday attention! Where else could you get some rest & your hair done than your own home and hair salon! And that's what Apollo Architects gave their clients in this unique home design!

Fleuve Home

“Apollo Architects & Associates made the Fleuve home for a client who required a small salon space from which to operate his organization.

The salon is found at the rear of the house and is surrounded on two sides by glass walls that seem out onto a planted backyard.

Components such as poured concrete, walnut floorboards and developed-in cabinetry lend the interior a warm and sophisticated truly feel.”

Would you enjoy your own salon in your dream house?

Barbie would and she knows you would too!

D’espresso Cafe

Books are a dying breed dolls, but there's still a few people that love them so much they want to create with them!

D'espresso Cafe

“Even in today’s digital world, printed books still enjoy a huge fan following. There’s just something about holding a real book in your hand, wondering about the author, the characters, and the hands that might have held it before you. Nemaworkshop, a New York-based collective of architects, designers and thinkers, tapped into this bibliophilia with their design concept for the second location of D’espresso, a trendy coffee shop located on Madison adjacent to Grand Central Terminal. Using uniquely printed tiles, the designers turned the entire cafe on its side, giving customers the feeling of being in a bookstore owned by Alice and the Mad Hatter.” (Via/| Inhabitat New York City)

Would you have a cup of coffee with your favorite doll or ken in this cafe?

Barbie would!
Enjoy!
