Linear House by Patkau Architects

Barbie absolutely thinks it's fabulous to have lines drawn. She is grateful when things go exactly to plan but sometimes life goes best without a plan even if you can't see it yet. There's fun in knowing that life isn't quite linear and some of the time architecture is!

Linear House by Patkau Architects

Linear House is located on Salt Spring Island, an island between Vancouver Island and British Columbia, Canada. The property is separated by a row of Douglas fir trees. Lines predominately compose the design of the space. Exteriors comprised of charcoal starkly contrast the light interior of the home. The open air pavilion lends itself to the climate.

Would you enjoy this linear dreamhouse?

Barbie would.

Enjoy!
Kisses, m.
