Travertine Dream House by Wallflower Architecture + Design
Inspired by Italian urbanscapes the architect used travertine to express them in his sustainable dream house. Comprised of two parallel blocks the home is separated by thick travertine walls that provide overhangs for ventilation and sunlight to bring an airy atmosphere into the home. Maximizing space the 4-story structure has a subterranean level. Surrounded by gardens and water bodies, a pool & fish pond, and a moss garden the home balances nature with purpose.
