“How does it feel to be a living cliché?”

It's what I'm wondering while she keeps talking, telling me how “great” she was on stage last night. 

Except instead of thinking it I say it and now she's making that face. The face that expresses how unkind I've been.

“I might be unkind and you might think me cruel but at least I didn't steal my stage name & persona from a movie about breaking someone's heart because I found it to be cute.”

It's then I realize I'm saying it all and she's crying but I don't care. I’m walking away. I need a hit. I'm bored. Fuck.
