Trompe L'oeil Architecture: Magritte Museum

Not everything in the world is what it seems. Oh so often even when we happen to pull back the facade we are still seeing the illusion that others wish us to see. Barbie adores her favorite dolls and Kens and respects their privacy. She knows people will only share what they want others to know. As such she waits to be told about their lives or asked to hang out or go places. She maintains its best doesn't overstep or invite herself into others lives or plans unless asked to do so. Why? Because the best illusions are maintained in architecture and not in family, friendships & relationships. Here's a lovely example of seeing what's meant for you to see...

Trompe L'oeil Architecture: Magritte Museum

To honor the artist, Rene Magritte the facade of the Brussels based museum mysteriously was covered by an elaborate Trompe L'oeil featuring 'The Empire of Light' an iconic piece by Magritte.

Would you be comfortable with the illusion of this facade?

Barbie hopes so!
Kisses, m.
